PCPG, the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists, is a non-profit corporation founded in 1989 by geologists seeking licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Today, having licensure, PCPG provides numerous services to its members, as related below.

PCPG members include both individuals and companies representing the diverse professions which are developing, managing, and protecting Pennsylvania's earth resources. Since 2006, when PCPG modified its membership structure, PCPG's membership has grown to over 600, and membership continues to grow.

Associate (Vendor/Supplier) - $500.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 4 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments A private organization that supports the work of those in the geological or environmental fields by providing allied goods and services and who does not compete against Individual or Corporate Members on a professional service basis. Up to four named individuals may be enrolled. Membership is not transferable.

Government - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments A licensed Professional Geologist or professional with a natural science or engineering degree involved in geological or environmental work and employed in the public sector. Government Members receive full voting privileges.

Individual / Academic - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments A licensed Professional Geologist or professional with a natural science or engineering degree involved in geological or environmental work and employed in the private or education sector. Individual Members receive full voting privileges.

Retired - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Retired members are those members who have retired from professional practice and desire to continue support of the organization. Retired Members do not receive voting privileges.

Student - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments An undergraduate or graduate student who is conducting geologic or environmental research through an accredited academic institution or is pursuing a degree in natural sciences or engineering for purposes of employment as a geologist or environmental professional. Student Members do not receive voting privileges. Please provide a copy of your valid student ID with your registration.
