Overview:  The Emotional Intelligence and Communication presentation being offered is a highly interactive, two tier approach to address the communication skills of the participants to help recognize how to control and leverage emotions to be more effective with their business and personal communications.  Ultimately improving emotional intelligence, it allows one to be heard more accurately, inspire and augment overall confidence in interactions with superiors, clients and peers.

Part 1 of the Emotional Intelligence & Communication training is to work with the participants to develop an understanding of emotional intelligence and how it can benefit them in communicating successfully.

It will include:

• What is, and the need for, Emotional Intelligence in the workplace

• Understanding the 5 cogs of Emotional Intelligence

• Emotional balance and applications

Part 2 of the presentation is to take what is learned in Part 1 and begin to apply for effective communications.  This interactive discussion will include:

• Applying Emotional Intelligence to communications, both written and oral

• Different scenario discussions, in positive and negative circumstance when dealing with superiors, clients and peers and how to respond appropriately.

• Putting it all together to practice in daily routines

At the end of the presentation the participant will have begun to create a foundation for future growth and development in their career paths by communicating professionally, and with confidence, in both written and oral formats.
